Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Quality Engineer and take the lead in inspecting product lines, focusing primarily on programming over design. You will be responsible for preparing all testing for new products and collaborating closely with customers' quality and engineering teams to review and improve manufacturability. Your role will involve solving complex programming issues using Coordinated Machine Measurement (CMM) and Vision systems, and running and programming CMM inspection equipment, primarily using Calypso software. You will also read and interpret drawings and blueprints with GD&T dimensioning and specifications, provide engineering support to the quality department, and participate in quality planning activities. Additionally, you will facilitate problem-solving for effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Orchard Park, New York.

Work Environment

Work in a brand new facility with newly replaced floors, all new CNC machines, and modern office spaces. This position requires working on the second shift from 4am to 2:30pm.
