Quality Engineer

Description:

This company is a local orthodontics company who has been around for 40 plus years in Franklin, IN. They proudly design and manufacture their products in the USA, and are registered to sell them in 93 countries. Supporting many product lines used for orthodontic clients.

The Quality Engineer maintains the Quality/Regulatory systems and processes. Will work closely with Quality Department to resolve issues related to Quality and customer orders.

Operates QA lab equipment for mechanical and dimensional testing. Will report directly to the quality manager and support technicians as well other engineers for product testing per customer requirements.

This position is a great chance for a long term opportunity with a company that holds majority share in the orthodontics industry and provides great long term growth.

Must Haves:

1.Bachelor or Associate Degree in Engineering.

2.1 year of quality engineering experience (PFMEA, Root cause analysis, scrap reduction, 5-whys)

3.Experience with post production inspection and testing
