KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • To own quality deliverables for NPD projects and coordinate activities to minimize future COPQ/CPPM impact (cost of poor quality/ Customer PPM) and unplanned warranty costs. • To assure that all supplied / internally produced components for NPD are evaluated based on risk, qualified, documented, and validated by purpose in accordance with Passport requirements. • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and its improvement during development. • To define component PPAP levels appropriately and to collect all documentation (internal, external sources). • To keep direct interface with suppliers and resources globally on quality/technical requirements and related issues, coordinate functions, monitor their performance and APQP progress and compliance. • Ensure compliance with the Global Supplier Quality Manual process including risk evaluation. • To report regularly on quality improvements in NPD projects. • To maintain a control phase for quality of all NPD projects implemented in the region based on product quality measures. • Monitor and apply World Head Quarter Standard Work (procedures, methods, records, work instructions) relating to Quality. • Support PFMEA process as part of APQP with New Product Development team and drive and coordinate corrective action activities. • To align with corporate standards, ISO procedures & policies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience; related field of study or equivalent is acceptable. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate for this position is a positive self-driven professional who possesses a combination of business acumen, technical and interpersonal skills. • 3+ years of experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning, Quality driven projects, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence or Operations within a manufacturing facility, with a proven history of influencing others in a cross-functional matrix environment. • Solid positive attitude and effective communicating skills with a proven ability to forge solid business inclusive and diverse relationships. • Experienced with AIAG, Quality core processes, systems, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing tools. • Robust skills on data manipulation, interpretation and analysis. • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project). • Familiar with GD&T methodology • Experience with 8D problem solving techniques
