This job posting is for a 1st Shift Quality Engineer that will follow customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies to ensure the production of compliant products.
Job Summary -
Supporting preliminary review
Overseeing return of nonconforming material to operations
Proper storage of nonconforming material
Support PW Material Review Board Process Support the Quality Clinic in managing nonconforming material and escapes.
Investigate nonconforming material to determine root cause, identify corrective actions and track effectiveness.
Review of engineering documentation to ensure it contains the necessary quality assurance and customer provisions and criteria.
Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and improvement opportunities.
Perform as an integrated team leader with engineering, customer service support, and operations to investigate and correct various quality issues related to internal non-Conformances, product returns, supplier issues, customer complaints and corrective action requests with clear and concise reports to customers.
Participate in cross-functional team projects to improve the overall organization and to develop a career path and leadership, with coaching and assistance by the Quality Manager
