Job Summary: Under the direction of the Chief Clinical Officer, the Data Abstractor serves as a health care professional who uses clinical knowledge to extract and review data to assure accuracy prior to submission to regulators and data clearinghouses such the Behavioral Healthcare Performance Measurement System/NRI.

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must have the ability to work independently, demonstrate critical thinking skills 2. Must exhibit a high degree of professional excellence characterized by sound independent judgement. 3.

Undergraduate degree in appropriate specialty. 4. Five years of clinical experience in a health care or similar environment. 5. Experience with regulatory audits, analyzing results and data extraction/abstraction. 6.

Computer literacy required. Microsoft product knowledge highly preferred

VIEW JOBS 11/21/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-19T00:00 POSITION SUMMARY The Clinical Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy in the acute care and outpatient settings. These include the assessment of the patient’s nutritional status, assessing of laboratory values and other pertinent medical data, and developing appropriate care plans for nutrition support including enteral and parenteral feedings. The Clinical Dietitian monitors the nutritional status of patients and provides counseling for patients with special nutritional requirements, consults with other health care professionals (physicians, nurses, pharmacists, etc.) as appropriate, participates in departmental quality improvement activities. Plans, implements and directs community based nutrition classes. QUALIFICATION EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics with completion of American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved undergraduate program, dietetic internship or master’s degree with qualifying work experience. EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS: Two to three years acute care, Outpatient nutritional counseling experience preferred.
