This position is responsible for auditing charts and entering data associated with Quality and Services for the Saint Francis Quality Department. Analyzes quality, cost, service, specifications and other relevant factors, and recommends supplier selection.

Performs daily record analysis to ensure completeness and accuracy to for charge capture and quality metric management. This position is also responsible for support of multi-nursing department purchasing, analysis, and recommendations. Regularly reviews the literature for product development, maintains department records, orders and supplies.


  • Minimum one (1) year experience in analyzing, reporting, and communicating data.

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, or other related field; a combination of education and/or additional job related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Ancestry is looking for an experienced Senior Data Governance and Quality Analyst to help lead and drive our Data Governance program forward and assist with resolving data quality issues. They will provide leadership and direction to develop the business process/policies by which Ancestry manages data accuracy, integrity, and governance. They will support and partner with the Data Governance Committee/Council (the DGC) by being the human face of policies that will contribute to the confidence of business decisions, customer experience and trust in Ancestry. They will help establish a company-wide Data Governance framework for data policies, standard and practices, throughout all functional areas, and enforce adherence to achieve required level of consistency, quality, curation, and protection to meet the strategic needs of the business. The ideal candidate will have a proven passion for proper data governance and data management policies alongside a track record of successful policy implementation. This position is part of the Data Governance and Quality Team and will report to the Director of Data Governance and Quality. What you will do: * Implement and operationalize the Data Governance roadmap, focusing on data handling, data usage, data curation, and data quality through policy, auditing, and collaboration. * Lead Data Governance Council meetings and enterprise-wide Working Groups to achieve their objectives. * Collaborate with partners to determine root causes of data quality issues and put preventative/detective controls in place. * Research and resolve any issues escalated from business and domain areas to the DGC and report back progress. * Design and maintain data dictionary/catalog documents. Identify and maintain data owners and stewards of the company's information assets. * Help define, visualize, and publish data governance and quality KPIs to stakeholders. * Proactively identify potential data issues and downstream impact of system changes * Perform data governance audits to report on compliance. * Proactively perform data quality audits and profiling using visualization and tSQL to find inconsistent data, incomplete data, and rule violations and initiate data remediation efforts. * MS in Information Technology or related advanced degree, or bachelor's degree with relevant experience desired. * 8+ years of professional experience in data management, data quality and/or governance or relevant consulting experience for an enterprise scale company. * Ability to be a company-wide change-agent that influences strategic while having transparent and productive relationships with peers. * Experience in establishing and successfully implementing Data Governance programs: heavy emphasis on developing and implementing data standards, policies, practices, and procedures that lead to substantive improvements in data management and quality. * Experience navigating complex global laws and regulations as related to data. * Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, writing, and analytical skills, with solid experience in writing data policies. * Excellent problem-solving including research, error detection, root cause analysis, error correction, conceptual, analytical and decision-making skills. * A strong understanding of information systems, data processing, storage and architecture. * Knowledge of at least one Data Experience with Data Governance/Standardization tools. * Quality tool (Quality Stage, Informatica IDQ, Trillium). * Proficient using Excel, writing SQL or other query language, data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms.
