  • Bachelor's or higher level degree from an accredited college or university (Must provide official transcripts at time of interview)

  • Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in data analysis within a healthcare environment

  • Experience with database management and reporting

  • Experience working with quality management principles and practices

  • Knowledge of medical terminology

  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel


  • Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy or Hospital Administration(Must provide official transcripts at time of interview)

  • Experience with federal data warehouses such as QualityNet

  • Prior experience with project management

  • Advanced proficiency in data management using Microsoft Excel and Access

  • Knowledge of basic statistical analysis

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and techniques

A copy of a valid State ID Card or Driver's License which identifies the holder of the ID as a Veteran, may also be attached to the application at time of filing.

Responsibilities: * Execute on strategic application of baseline data quality performance and trending, including program evolution; Accountable for the design, implementation and capability evolution (including manual execution) of multi-tier quality dashboards to help progress vs. a baseline level of data quality * Partner with the business to promote data quality tools, controls, and overall quality awareness across the data supply chain; Define Overall Data Quality KPIs, measurements, and reporting standards including escalation of systemic data quality issues within the data council * Work with Functional Data Officers to identify systemic data quality issues (e.g., issues that are common across Functions) and coordinate remediation/ resolution; Propose any data quality issues for escalation to the data council * Jointly develop with Data Services Execution resources to define data quality and discovery playbooks; contribute to overall DQ standards; and develop and promote DQ awareness, programs, and training (coordinate with overall CDO communication and adoption planning efforts) * Manage and provide leadership to team members; connect counselees to the people, resources, and opportunities to help further their career goals and development * Set goals, offer feedback, source developmental opportunities and provide long-term career guidance to counselees and others across the department and act as a role model Qualifications: * Minimum five years of experience building and managing a federated data quality program, including policy/standard integration, processes, and controls; Experience with purpose built data quality tools, and/or large SAP environments is a plus * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university * Ability to develop and operational Big Data /Data Quality initiatives including CDE quality rules * Experience with data governance toolkits and multi-tier DQ dashboards for critical data * Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team work * US Citizenship required KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
