The Trident Company -- has an immediate opening for a Quality Coordinator/Technician in the Tulsa, OK facility. The Quality Coordinator/Technician coordinates inspection activities, including any required action on inventory and open orders, with various other departments and customers as needed (e.g., quality control, purchasing, production and sales), resolution of product-related issues. and aids in continuous improvement projects to our quality system including compliance to ISO/AS standards.

Hourly pay range - $24.50 to $30.00 - Depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of mechanical inspections of raw materials, manufactured parts, first-run, random and final inspection of parts working to prescribed tolerances.

• Uses precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, scales, calipers, and pertinent gages.

• Read and interpret customer drawings, blueprints and engineering notes.

• Knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T) methods per ASME 14.5 is a plus.

• Follows the appropriate steps of the quality control and issue resolution process, including the following:

• Investigates and Responds to all quality issues reported by sales and customers.

• Analyze and troubleshoots defective parts and production issues.

• Coordinates inspection activities, including any required action on inventory and open orders, as needed with quality control, purchasing, production and sales.

• Develops, reviews and finalizes Corrective Action Reports and coordinates submission to appropriate departments and customer to resolve the quality issue at hand.

• Works through the issue resolution process until corrective action is taken and validation has been confirmed.

• Position will interact with customers.

• Carries out Internal Audits as required.

• Periodically pulls invoices to determine original cost for use in Debits.
