This job will have a Credentialing focus, working with insurance payers, physicians and staff. Detail oriented, computer skills, working knowledge of insurance payers and plans.
ResponsibilitiesThe Quality/Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the marketing programs and initiatives as directed by the Director. The Coordinator may be responsible for growing volume of marketing, referral developments, and hospital services.
The coordinator will coordinate patient recruitment events, nurture existing relationships with clinics and physician offices in addition to developing new business and identifying opportunities which result in volume growth. QualificationsEducation and Work Experience High School diploma or Equivalent, or minimum 3 years directly related work experience. 2-4 years of college education desired, with healthcare/degree preferred. Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be able to function with minimal direction and supervision. Preferred one year experience in the healthcare field, preferably in physician office, insurance communications. Public speaking experience in both large and small groups, preferred.
Good interpersonal skills, writing, spelling, telephone etiquette, and sensitive interface with general public and employees. Computer literacy with Microsoft (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, social media, wordpress, and website content management systems preferred. Bi-lingual preferred.
