The quality control technician is responsible for the inspection and testing of manufacturing processes and products to insure the product quality. The quality control technician will work with a variety of inspection and test equipment and methods, processes and products, ensuring proper procedures are being followed and documented in order to maintain product quality and records traceability. The quality control technician will also assist to insure nonconforming product is appropriately identified and removed from the production flow until such product can be dispositioned.

  • Minimum High School Degree

  • Must have working knowledge of various weights and measures.

  • Must possess ability to perform math computations of manufacturer's specifications.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Strong Communication

  • Detail Oriented

  • Familiarity with dimensional inspection gages

  • Strong work ethic

  • Strong ability to work without supervision

  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions

  • SAP experience is a plus.

  • Gas Chromatography experience is a plus.

VIEW JOBS 1/17/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-16T00:00 Electrical Maintenance Technician - Bridgeview, IL 7601 South 78th Ave Bridgeview, Illinois, 60455 United States The opportunity: On the 2nd or 3rd shift: Primary duties include providing safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair. How you will impact WestRock: * Utilize electrical/mechanical skills to maintain machinery * Contribute to a collaborative safety culture that drives results * Provide rapid response to ensure seamless productivity.
