As a Quality Control Technician, you are responsible for L.B. Foster product support and administration and monitoring quality assurance programs to comply with company standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished goods to specified criteria and test methods.

  • Communicate nonconforming product/out of tolerance conditions to team members and supervisors.

  • Reject product when requirements are not met.

  • Keeps quality records and supporting management in maintaining ISO certifications

  • Assist with determination of root cause of non-conformances and participate in generation of corrective actions.

  • All other duties as assigned.

What You Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Precast Quality Control experience preferred

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving heavy machinery and equipment

  • Ability to prioritize and use time efficiently

  • A focus on problem solving and teamwork

  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

  • Average proficiency in mathematics

  • Good visual acuity
