Quality Control Technician III (Must Have Cert)

Job Summary: As a Quality Control Technician III, you will be responsible for performing advanced inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure the quality and compliance of precast concrete products.

You will work closely with production teams, supervisors, and engineering staff to maintain high-quality standards and resolve quality-related issues. Key Responsibilities: Conduct advanced inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished precast concrete products.

Ensure compliance with PCI, ACI, ASTM, and company quality standards. Perform slump, air content, and compression tests on concrete mixes. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality reports.

Identify and report non-conformities, working with production teams to implement corrective actions. Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Train and mentor junior quality control technicians.

Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues. Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and product quality.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certification preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control within precast concrete, construction materials, or a related industry. PCI Level II or III Certification preferred.

Strong understanding of concrete properties, mix designs, and testing procedures. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
