Overview

A Quality Control Technician is responsible for the testing of products and materials as well as recording and analyzing data to ensure compliance with specifications during manufacturing and product development. Other duties include testing and maintaining equipment and devices used in the testing of materials and products.

This position is working under the subsidiary Kao Collins Inc., located at 1201 Edison Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45216.

Qualifications

Education & Training

  • B.S. in chemistry or equivalent science-related degree and/or five years experience in a chemical manufacturing environment with Quality Control responsibilities.

Technical Preferences

  • Familiarity within a laboratory environment.

  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.

Experience

  • Quality Control experience.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software products.

Good communication/interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, meticulous in their work, shows initiative, clean/neat, attention to detail, honest, and reliable.

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector. Role Summary/Purpose The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring our products meet quality requirements through accurate inspection, review of documentation, and communication and interaction within all disciplines of the business. Essential Responsibilities * Accurate inspection of circuit card and top-level assemblies. * Review of documentation * Interaction with all disciplines of the business * Accurately compare and verify information across multiple documents. Qualifications / Requirements * A high school diploma (or GED) is required; an Associate Degree is preferred. * A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar quality position is desired. * A current or previous Quality Inspector ASQ certification is desired. * Preferred candidates have experience with Military/Space workmanship specifications and IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 soldering specifications. * Candidates with past inspection of military or aerospace electronic products experience is a plus * This position requires: o Strong computer skills. o Previous inspection experience. o Experience working under a microscope. o The ability to accurately compare and verify information across multiple documents and to perform accurate inspection of circuit card and top-level assemblies. * Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude in helping to resolve issues is essential for this position. * Members of our team must be able to actively contribute to improvement opportunities. * This individual must have a high degree of attention to detail and be highly organized and focused. * Must be available to work overtime as needed.
