Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Quality Control Technician 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.
We are hiring for 1st and 2nd shifts.
The selected candidate will be a quality minded individual who will be working in a lab environment using a microscope with the primary responsibility of microelectronics inspection supporting various programs. This is a 1st shift position. Must be okay working independently or in group setting.
Must have excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward), interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management. Strong leadership skills are preferred. .
High school diploma or GED
2 years of microelectronic chip inspection experience
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
Must know how to read electrical drawings
Knowledge of Enovia and Solumina & write DR's
Proficient with Eyelit, Solumina and Enovia
Knowledge of writing DR's or other related non-conformance reports
Familiar with microelectronics command media particularly D12148
