Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise Inspectors and Inspector delegates. Ensure timely accomplishment of all inspections in accordance with the Maintenance policies and procedures. Monitor of inspections and repairs to ensure appropriate and efficient procedures are utilized. Manage the Piedmont Tool Calibration program at the station. Audit completed work production packages. Verify the current revision status of all publications used in production. Accomplish audits and projects, as assigned. Conduct on-the-job training, as needed. Order, maintain and issues Identification Stamps for the Piedmont Quality Control Department under the direction of the Chief Inspector and MPP guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
Must hold a current Airframe & Powerplant certificate and company-issued licenses.
Has had at least three years of diversified maintenance experience on large aircraft with an air carrier, commercial operator, or certified repair station,
Know the appropriate parts of the Maintenance Policies and Procedures Manual, including applicable provisions of CFRs.
Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment
Some travel is required
Airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
Work weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts
Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
