Quality Control Supervisor

Job Description

Quality Control Supervisor, Archer Daniels Midland Company, Winter Haven, FL. Plan, coordinate and direct quality control team to achieve task completion.

Identify and remedy gaps throughout the supply chain. Assist in the documentation of new and revised analytical methodology. Maintain the Gas Chromatography (GC) system and instrument start up and shut down protocols.

Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager and Operations Manager to identify non-typical distillation campaigns. Review and validate the inventory spreadsheets containing GC data. Order inventory and laboratory supplies.

Address product and process non-conformity issues. Identify process improvement opportunities and ensure quality requirements are met. Train co-workers on new and modified procedures.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field, and two (2) years of related work experience.

Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:

• Investigating quality and food safety deviations, rejections and non-conformities;

• Customer or third part audits including Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC);

• Supplier verification and validation to Food Safety Standards;

• Developing Quality Control protocols; and

• Ensuring compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
