Quality Control Specialist (QC) Global Food Trading, Japan/USA $65-78k/y Global Food Trading firm has an immediate opening for the Quality Control (QC) position for their HQ, Los Angeles/Paramount, CA Office Qualifications / Responsibilities: Min. 2-3 years of QC experience in the food industry (Seafood & Meat industry are plus, but not a must) Bilingual in English/Japanese languages skills are plus Basic knowledge of Food Safety or hygiene Knowledge of USDA Grading principles and OSHA Safety Requirements Responsible for the enforcement of Food Quality Systems (HACCP, ISO 22002 TS, GMP’s, etc.) Environmental Monitoring (Swabs) and monitoring of food manufacturing facility procedures Data entry of QC information Maintaining records related to traceability (Raw materials, finished goods, packaging, etc.) Verifies equipment (scales, thermometers, etc.) Conduct pre-operational inspections of production lines including Sanitation verification (ATP swabs) This is a full-time, direct hire position with excellent corporate level benefits including medical, dental, 401k etc.
