Quality Control - Quality Technician

We are hiring Rockstars to join our Sauer Brands team!Quality Control Technician- 2nd ShiftOverall Goal of Position:Be an interracial part of our Quality Assurance team by ensuring product safety and quality.Job SummaryPrimary responsibilities are collecting, testing and documenting quality dressing, mayonnaise and sauces. Included in overall duties is to take samples, record and report accurately. Monitoring safe and sanitary conditions throughout plant using and enforcing GMPs. Requires close communication and coordination with production supervisor, packaging operators, maintenance, and warehousing.2nd Shift: Monday- Thursday 5:00 pm- 3:30 am.$1.75/hour Shift DifferentialWhat will you do?* Perform quality checks in the mainline or Portion control departments. * Ability to perform analytical testing on batched samples and record data. * Pulling finished product samples for retains and micro analysis. * Performs x-ray examinations on lines. * Ability to test for moisture and fat on products. * Pre- and post-op inspection * Redzone familiarization and utilization * Truck inspection audits, having the ability to enter Raw material data.* HACCP familiarization * Notifies QC management when Quality issues arise. * Performs "Near Miss" submittals monthly.Performance Standards (the criteria that will be used to evaluate performance)* Conduct line checks.
