The MHII-QC associate is primarily responsible for the accurate and efficient handling and counting of merchandise. This position collects and analyzes data to ensure accuracy and corrects data and/or merchandise if an error is identified. The MHI-QC associate will also record required information on labels and products as well as key data into WMOS, spreadsheets and databases.

This position works Sunday through Thursday from 1:00pm to 9:30pm, with mandatory overtime as needed to include up to 10 hour work days and weekends.

Position Functions:

  • *Accurately count merchandise following predetermined procedures and methods.

  • *Review case label information and verify contents by item, picks per case, etc

  • *Enter data into WMOS, databases, and spreadsheets accurately as well as make necessary adjustments and corrections.

  • *Review printouts of inventory data and prepare required forms per SOP.

  • *Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to read, write, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.

  • Brings problems to the attention of the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager.

  • Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.

  • All other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

  • Required to stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours. Hours usually include weekends, evenings and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations.

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.

  • Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving weights of 5 40 pounds constantly and 41-60lbs frequently.

  • Ability to move up to 40lbs at least 25 feet in distance.

  • Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 6 months of previous experience in a warehouse facility preferred.

Responsible for managing the growth of the Direct To Consumer Operations and facility project to support it, which currently includes 1 direct report * Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred * Two plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience highly preferred * Previous experience in Direct To Consumer and Store Fulfillment highly preferred * Strong reasoning, analytical, and organizational skills * Staff mentoring and development / technical guidance and direction * Teamwork and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with customers, associates, and senior management * May be required to adjust schedule by coming in early and/or leaving later to meet production objectives, attend meetings and events or provide the building leadership coverage.
