What You Will Be Doing

A minimum of 5 years combined experience in the following areas:
Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager on similar size and type construction contracts which included the major trades that are part of this contract.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a QC Manager.
Essential Duties and

Develop, implement, and administer the QC Plan following the three phases of control.
Ensure all project personnel and subcontractors understand and comply with the QC requirements.
Certify that all submittals are in compliance with contract requirements.
Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process.
What You Need for this Position

QCM (Quality Control Manager)must be a graduate engineer, graduate architect, or a graduate of construction management, with a minimum of 2 years of QCM experience employed on projects similar in size and complexity

. Or have a minimum of 4 years in QCM work. They need to have RMS/QCS software experience, preferably RMS 3.0.

preferred experience with Military or Government Builds

Use prescribed standards to determine chemical and/or physical characteristics for quality control purposes and to determine conformity to specifications. Requirements * Set up, adjustment and operation of laboratory equipment and instrumentations such as agitators, scales, ovens and other lab equipment required. * Work around industrial equipment and machinery to obtain materials samples from production facilities such as conveyors, stockpiles, rail cars and/or customer sites. * Record test results in AggQC and/or standardized forms. * Report and communicate test results internally and externally (DOT and other customers as required). * Clean, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment. * Inspect stockpiles for proper construction. Inspect haul units for cleanliness. * Maintain test data files. * Assist in investigating and resolving customer technical problems. * Become GDOT certified within a reasonable time. * Participate as a team member. * Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
