As the Quality Control / Maintenance Technician, you will maintain systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance and quality control schedules; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates functionality and reliability of operating systems associated with property maintenance; identifying problems and requirements to solve issues
  • Implements a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts
  • Improves function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Accomplishes maintenance and organizational mission by completing related results, and other assignments as needed
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in property maintenance and Quality Control
  • Customer Service skills
  • Ability to plan tactically
  • Technical school certificate preferred

Working Conditions

  • Able and willing to work weekends, after hours and/or holidays where needed
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Position requires employee to stand, walk, drive throughout shift
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 lbs
  • Indoors and outdoors work environment
  • Position may come into contact with pets.
  • Must use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous chemicals/materials
  • Schedules vary based on business need, so flexibility is expected
  • Position requires employee to talk or hear and occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Daily checks of the Building Automation System and building mechanicals.</p></li><li><p>Assign and verify completion of routine maintenance and operations of physical structure of property, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and any other related equipment which contributes to the safe and affective operation of the facility</p></li><li><p>Ensures compliance with company policy on vehicle operation. Perform daily rounds-check boilers, pools, common areas, sprinkler systems, fire pump room, fire panels.</p></li><li><p>Visually inspect quality of work and direct staff and outside contractors in task according to performance and productivity standards</p></li><li><p>Ensures compliance with company policy on vehicle operation.</p></li><li><p>Insure all inspections and certifications for property equipment is completed as required.</p></li><li><p>Maintain all Facilities and Operating Systems in a safe and efficient working order (ie.
