Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Grade:

Reports To: Operations Manager

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for Inspection of parts and assemblies produced at BBC Fasteners Manufacturing facility in Alsip, IL. Responsible for documenting and alerting management of non-conforming material produced in the production area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect parts using Go, No-Go gauges, micrometers and other measuring equipment.
• Documenting the Inspection using the Quality Inspection Reports.
• Assures gauges are in calibration before using.

Requirements

Education and Experience Required:

• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution
• Forklift Certified
• Ability to read all necessary gauges.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Thoroughness.
• Ability to interpret drawings.
• Reading, writing and math skills are essential.
• Skills in reading blueprints, fabrication and welding.
• Computer proficiency

Salary Description

$16.00 - $19.00
