  • Verifies compliance with work standards, SOPs, ROH, and other requirements documents,
  • Pays particular attention to the timeliness and accuracy of work performed,
  • Screens documents to determine accuracy of data contained in them and determines which need corrective action,
  • Keeps various logs and uses random sampling to evaluate process efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness,
  • Responsible for recognizing problems that might invalidate samples, investigating complaints, reviewing violations found by personnel, and preparing reports of findings and actions needed or taken,
  • Recommends changes that will improve contract performance,
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Public Trust clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand proficiently in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.

The effective candidate will work from planning sheets, blueprints, quality control specifications, oral and written instructions, and contractual requirements.</p><p>Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:</p><ul><li><p>Inspect for final acceptance, all types, and series of electronic hardware to resolve that rework, modification, and repairs conform to contractual/drawing requirements.</p></li><li><p>Inspect and accept electronic hardware referencing quality control standards, workmanship, and drawing specifications; by checking such items as parts, wires, solder joints, and terminals, using appropriate inspection devices.</p></li><li><p>Inspect and reject for tests or rework or otherwise approves hardware as acceptable.</p></li><li><p>Prepare reports and maintain records as required.</p></li><li><p>Meet necessary certifications as required.</p></li><li><p>Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required.</p></li></ul><p>U.S. Citizenship required, as the candidate must have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance.</p><p>Required Skills:</p><ul><li><p>Minimum (6) years of experience as a quality inspector or comparable experience</p></li><li><p>Experience using calibrated inspection measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, microscope, and rulers</p></li><li><p>Experience with drawing and blueprint reading</p></li><li><p>Experience with hardware returned from the field (Mission Support).</p></li><li><p>Ability to understand and communicate with engineering teams, facilitators, and managers</p></li><li><p>Ability to inspect to the Solder Institute of Printed Circuits (IPC) Joint Standard 001E, Military Specifications (MIL Specs), and Process Specifications</p></li><li><p>Ability to inspect and use a Manufacturing reporting System to document observations and defects</p></li><li><p>Ability to conduct First Article Inspections</p></li><li><p>Ability to recognize and enforce compliance to Raytheon Technologies' policies and procedures</p></li><li><p>Ability to perform quality inspections with minimal mentor oversight</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills</p></li><li><p>Team player</p></li></ul><p>Desired Skills:</p><ul><li><p>Ability to conduct Audits per a defined Quality Management System</p></li><li><p>Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite</p></li><li><p>Ability to work with a high degree of dedication and efficiency</p></li><li><p>Ability to effectively communicate with management, supervisors, and peers to resolve issues</p></li><li><p>Display a strong personal commitment to successfully complete all projects</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates a high level of initiative (self-starter).</p></li></ul><p>Required Education:</p><p>High School Diploma or Equivalent</p><p>Bachelor's Degree will be considered in lieu of (6) years' work experience</p><p>Relocation is unavailable for this role</p><p>This position requires a U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.</p><p>Raytheon Technologies is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
