Position Summary:

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing QC inspections and package testing on in-process materials and finished products. The QC inspector will also be responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures comply with applicable FDA, state, OSHA, AATB, and ISO regulations and standards.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Performs quality control inspections on manufacturing supplies, labels, in-process materials and sterile packed finished products

  • Performs peel testing of sterile product seals

  • Follow verbal and/or written instructions such as production traveler/batch record, work instruction, and process specifications at the direction of supervisor while completing a variety of inspection tasks

  • Document non-conformances when discovered

  • Achieve targeted goals as set by the production schedule

  • Maintain the quality control lab and work areas in an organized manner

  • Familiarity with GMP and SOP's to ISO standards a plus

  • Follow all safety regulations and SOPs

  • Adhere to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.

  • Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum of one (1) year experience with quality control inspections is preferred

  • Self-starter with the ability to show initiative in assignments; willingness to continually strive to increase knowledge and skills

  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and follow-up skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking and maintaining attention to detail

  • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel

The Production Operator will perform assigned functions at Almac Pharma Services relevant to the packaging area ensuring that quality is maintained in products for the safety, well-being, and protection of the patient. In addition, the Production Operator will be required to perform assigned functions within Primary Packaging Rooms (exposed product) and Secondary Packaging Rooms (no exposed product). In addition to packaging activities, this position will also entail cleaning of equipment and packaging areas. This position is on 2nd shift: 2:30pm to 10:40pm Shift will include 10% shift differential Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Package/Assemble/Label material as detailed in the batch document within primary or secondary production rooms while in accordance to Almac Pharma Services SOP's and cGMP's. * Perform and ensure that thorough, routine cleaning of equipment and packaging rooms is performed according to appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's). * Must be able to Package/Assemble/Label material as detailed in the batch document within cold conditions (2 - 8°C) as required by individual operations. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Required Experience: 1+ years of work experience. Preferred Experience: Experience within pharmaceutical or similar environment.
