Quality Control Chemist Lv1 Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Quality Control Chemist Lv1 for a contract position in Minneapolis, MN.

The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:20% - Provide support to research scientists in the completion of research projects or activities, including analytical method validation 60% - Conduct routine sample analysis, routine experiments, organizing and communicating results 10% - Maintain laboratory equipment, and handling sample request 10% - Ensure corporate EHS and Food Safety compliance Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in in Chemistry, Food Science, or related scientific fields, Minimum 2 years chemistry lab experience (higher education can substitute experience)Including experience with standard chemistry lab glassware and techniques Effective organizational skills Ability to work independently effectively and cooperatively in a team environment Demonstrated willingness to learn Attention to detail Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) Skill: Analytical, HPLC, Lifting 50 IBS.
