Quality Control Chemist

Marchem Automotive is seeking candidates to fill the role of Quality Control Chemist competent in all functions within the Chemical Department to join our expanding team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing physical and wet chemistry of raw materials as well as finished products using various analytical laboratory equipment

• Calibrating and maintaining laboratory instruments

• Assisting with the set-up of instrumentation

• Writing papers or reports and specifications for processes, facilities and products;

• Analysing test results to determine process or equipment operating efficiency or to diagnose malfunctions

• General laboratory housekeeping

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Some experience desired but not essential as training will be provided.

• Must possess brilliant organizational, written and verbal communication skills and Solid skills and experience with Excel
