Pay: $20.00 /hour


Duration: 3 months W2 Contract

1.Performs analyses, inspection, and tests of products, raw materials, in-process materials, release test samples or stability samples, packaging materials, quantitative assays on samples, and/or finished products from manufacturing, to ensure quality standards and compliance with company standards, customer and governmental regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for the chemical or physical property.

2.Performs a variety of qualitative tests or qualitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from standard analytical equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation, aides in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance.

3.May be involved in establishing requirements for transfer of methodology from R&D. Performs required inspections, checks, analysis and documentation of studies. Prepares and monitors quality statistics and reports.

4.Reviews production records for conformance to procedures. Conducts non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged or tested product.

  • Has limited discretion to vary from established procedures

  • Has limited work experience involving basic concepts and procedures

  • Works under general supervision

  • Performs routine assignments in the entry level of the Professional Career Band

5.Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts

6.Develops competence by performing structured work assignments

  • Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems

  • Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector. Role Summary/Purpose The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring our products meet quality requirements through accurate inspection, review of documentation, and communication and interaction within all disciplines of the business. Essential Responsibilities * Accurate inspection of circuit card and top-level assemblies. * Review of documentation * Interaction with all disciplines of the business * Accurately compare and verify information across multiple documents. Qualifications / Requirements * A high school diploma (or GED) is required; an Associate Degree is preferred. * A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar quality position is desired. * A current or previous Quality Inspector ASQ certification is desired. * Preferred candidates have experience with Military/Space workmanship specifications and IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 soldering specifications. * Candidates with past inspection of military or aerospace electronic products experience is a plus * This position requires: o Strong computer skills. o Previous inspection experience. o Experience working under a microscope. o The ability to accurately compare and verify information across multiple documents and to perform accurate inspection of circuit card and top-level assemblies. * Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude in helping to resolve issues is essential for this position. * Members of our team must be able to actively contribute to improvement opportunities. * This individual must have a high degree of attention to detail and be highly organized and focused. * Must be available to work overtime as needed.
