Quality Compliance Observer

Description:

The Quality Compliance Observer is to maintain a presence at the construction site overseeing multiple roofing sub contractors to ensure and confirm the roofing contractor is compliant with the contract documents, approved submittals, schedule, and safety procedures. The QCO will complete daily quality reports and safety reports among other submittals through-out the week.

This position is a 5 month contract with the potential to get hired on full time depending on weather and work load at the end of the contract period.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a presence at the construction site on a day-to-day basis, interact with the roofing contractors and the clients representatives, along with the internal Project Manager in order to coordinate site requirements per job specifications

• Taking photographs of job-site progress and daily documentation+ reporting on company app

• Ensuring the roofing contractor is compliant with the Contract Documents

• Completing and submitting daily quality and safety reports

• Informs the Project Manager of quality issues and safety violations by the contractor

• Ensure any incomplete work is finished prior to the final inspection

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of commercial construction management experience or superintendent experience on commercial or residential roofing projects

• Strong organization and communication skills

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel across Colorado

• Construction and maintaining safety standards experience required

• Experience managing field projects and overseeing subcontractors on a daily basis

• Experience with roofing
