The Hot Section Module Center (HSMC) Quality Clinic is offering a great opportunity for an Investigation Manager to join our team. The Quality Clinic is a challenging, fast paced, high visibility environment and we are looking for someone who has high energy, works well with others, and can lead by influence.
Coordinate the Escape Management Process for escapes, including population bounding, identifying robust systemic root cause and follow up on the implementation of corrective/preventive actions
Facilitation and coaching of cross-functional Problem Resolution Team (PRTs) for escapes and Clinic Assists for high pain organizational issues
Foster and maintain cooperative relationship with Program Quality, Product Recall, DCMA, and leverage clinic to clinic interaction across PW enterprise
Maintain ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) discipline and certification
Maintain Quality Clinic and individual certifications
Improve RCCA proficiency throughout HSMC
Drive personal improvement in RCCA competency
Support the maintenance and publication of all Clinic related Metrics
Bachelor's Degree in a technical, business or Quality field
Knowledge of RCCA tools and proficiency in driving robust systemic RCCA
Knowledge of SAP and Quality Notifications
Bachelor's degree in technical field required (e.g., Engineering, Physical Sciences, Manufacturing, Quality)
5+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing and/or Engineering with a minimum of 3 years in the aerospace industry
US citizenship required due to government contracts
Familiarity with the 8D process
Ability to lead others, develop and execute action plans, influence decisions and drive change
Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner
High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with leadership and associates at all levels through the organization and external customers
Knowledge of non-conforming material management processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as, strong presentation, planning, problem solving, organizational, project management and decision-making skills
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SAP
Experience developing and mentoring other leaders
Experience working in a shop capacity
