SUMMARY: The Quality Auditor will be responsible to plan, conduct and lead assigned quality installation audits and projects for internal Installation Teams and SAC Contracting Partners. The Quality Auditor will have a strong commitment to quality and knowledge wireless telecom documented standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide consulting services to organizational management and staff as appropriate.

  • Perform non-bias quality installation audits based on telecommunication standards.

  • Successful deliver on all aspects of audit execution, including error free and timely report issuance.

  • Overall responsibility for identifying and defining audit issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.

  • Communicates the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management.

  • Accountable for follow-up on outstanding audit issues to ensure that corrective actions are implemented and working as planned.

  • The Com Train Quality Auditor will provide the completion tower top quality audits by physically climbing the communications tower and using communications tools such as an Antenna Alignment Tool, digital camera, torque wrenches.

  • Provide Civil Ground Quality Audits inspecting all facets of the installation from Construction drawings to cabling requirements per SAC ATT 002-290-502 Standards or customer standards.

  • The provisioning of a non-bias professional quality audit report via SAC Audit Tool Pronto Forms.

  • Time management skills, managing excessive travel, quality audits and on time report delivery.

  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable at times speaking in front of somewhat large groups during quality training sessions.

  • Provide on-site corrective actions for SAC Internal Builds reducing back to site visits for SAC crews when corrective actions are possible.

  • Provide a weekly schedule and travel requests to the reporting manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma

  • 5 or more years' telecommunication quality auditing experience or 10 years' experience in wireless telecommunication.

  • Quality Auditor Certification from ASQ preferred.

  • Expert knowledge of major wireless carriers' installation standards, guidelines and associated audit tools for companies in the U. S.

  • Technical understanding/ability.

  • Desire to succeed and learn new skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.

  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.

  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, effective listening and writing skills.

  • Demonstrated analytical abilities necessary to plan and prioritize own work, complete work on time and maintain required records and logs.

  • Strong in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and other computer skills necessary for communication and reporting.

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

  • Com Trained/Rescue Trained (Certified Tower Climber)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

  • Sit for prolonged periods.

  • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Accurately complete detailed forms and reports.

  • Travel up to 100%.
