Quality Auditor:

In this role, the individual will be responsible for quality assurance supporting operations, engineering and outside processes. This candidate must be able to work independently and travel when necessary.

What Do You Offer Us:

  • Oversee and monitor the inspection and review surveys and designs to ensure quality standards.

  • Maintain high level production rates to meet our customer needs.

  • Must be willing to work in a team environment with all levels of operations.

  • Assist Hazardous Liquids and Natural Gas business units with qualification and training of personnel performing DOT regulated pipeline covered tasks.

  • Conduct performance evaluations on new hires and three-year OQ's in the field.

  • Provide continuing educational training/mentoring for existing employees.

  • Monitor and evaluate operators to ensure they are qualified for the equipment they are assigned to.

  • Create and or update existing training documents as needed for operators, foreman and labors.

  • Audit fusion equipment checklist in Survey 123 to ensure foremen are utilizing the Survey 123 app.

  • Ensure that record keeping of all calibrated equipment i.e., gauges, CGIs, fusion equipment, etc.

  • Perform field audits on crews utilizing Origami, including; Quality Audits, Safety Audits, Management Stary Observations - Gas, Foreman Expectations Guidance, Field DOT Audits and Good catches.

  • Ability to be compliant with federal and applicable state pipeline safety regulatory requirements, in a cost-effective and efficient manner with minimal impact on business units' processes or resources.

  • Interacts with operations employees and supervisors to provide training on covered tasks, both in the classroom and hands on instruction in various field or simulated settings.

  • Observes and evaluates manual skills performance in an objective and consistent manner.

  • Prepares, organizes and submits OQ task documentation.

  • Collaborates with business partners and internal or external subject matter experts.

  • Other duties and special projects, as assigned.

  • Annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 based on experience.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of underground and gas construction methods.

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in utilities and Operator Qualifications.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Must be able to pass a DOT drug test and background check.

  • QA/QC audit experience.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office, such as: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Detailed oriented and ability to prioritize and manage activities for multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to collect, gather, visualize, and analyze data in detail.

  • Successful interpersonal communication and meeting management skills.

  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.

  • Certification in OSHA 10 or 30, other professional endorsements a plus.
