Position: Quality

Type: Contract-3-6 months

Location: Northwest Houston, TX

Company Profile

Our client is a Houston-based company formed by a seasoned team of oilfield service and equipment industry executives. They deliver a wide variety of smart, innovative and practical drilling and well construction products for today's oilfields and are in need of a Quality candidate to support the companies OHSSE group. The client is looking for someone with strong IT skills (computer savvy). This person will be looking at AX and SharePoint to review what quality items are missing or needed (AX and Vault system quality auditor).

Job Duties:

'AX and "the Vault" are the chosen systems with this client to maintain quality-related information within production. This information is related to product drawings, revisions and material specifications.

The purpose of this position is to perform an assessment and audit of the compliance status regarding required information in these systems that directly relate to the company's ability to manufacture the same product the same way every time. Additionally, ensuring that drawings and material specifications are always available to check against during the receiving inspection process. The candidate will be looking for specific holes in the data, define the scope and extent of problems identified and enable the company to close gaps in requirements.

Additional experience

  • SharePoint in-depth

  • Microsoft Dynamics AX

  • Any engineering data systems background and experience
