  • Candidate must hold a current Certified Welding Inspector's (CWI) certification

  • Five years of experience in the field of ASME/NB boiler and pressure vessel repairs along with training in or knowledge of non-destructive inspection techniques preferred.

  • Ability to perform field inspections and testing in accordance with applicable client specifications.

  • Must possess thorough knowledge of relevant manufacturing codes including ASME Section I, II, V, VIII Div.1, IX, B31.1, B31.3, NBIC, and API specifications.

  • Computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to produce ASME manufacturer's data reports and NBIC repair/alteration forms.

Position Responsibilities: * Participates with product teams and core function to integrate technical numerical control inspection solutions across multiple products. * Develops, identifies and implements numerical programming for NC machining and robotic inspection applications. * Develops and implements inspection plans related to NC programming and Model-Based Design requirements. * Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements. * Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document numerical programming best practices. * Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible numerical control/build definitions. * Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule. * Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts. * Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies Work Authorization: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
