Job Title: Quality Assurance/Control Manager - Data Center
Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports To: Project Manager/ Regional QA/QC Manager
Job Summary:

While specific duties can vary depending on the project's complexity, common responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
schedules to support an integrated construction schedule
Ensure that the installing contractor has met customer and industry standard installation requirements
Overall responsible for the safe and successful completion of the electrical work to ensure projects are completed with the highest degree of
accuracy and success
Work with superintendents and foremen to plan, and organize activities concerned with construction projects
Complete all QA documentation and any other reports that are required for the project
Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, and closures of issues
Inspect and support testing of equipment
Work with and communicate effectively with subcontractors, superintendents, office staff, engineering staff, consultants, and owner's
representatives to facilitate project activities
Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings
Perform final QA inspection on equipment
Answering questions of a technical nature during project execution
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of Electrical QA Experience
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Foreman/Superintendent experience preferred
Excellent troubleshooting skills for all aspects of electrical equipment
Knowledge of low voltage/ medium voltage systems preferred
Experience in data center preferred
Experience with Bluebeam and Revit systems
Experience with NFPA 70 codes and standards
Work Environment:
This position may require travel to various project sites.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.
Potential Hazards:
Outside most of the time
Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures
Manufacturing and refining environment
Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels
Limited working surfaces
Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
Exposure to areas with limited visibility
Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time on a monthly basis for required tasks
Potential or Periodic amounts of time for the following:
If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
Essential Requirements:
Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of 2 miles per day
Standing
Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel
Use of respirator if position requires
Driving if required to travel
