We are located at Exit 116 right off 65 in Shepherdsville KY, a short 20-minute drive from downtown Louisville.

Job Description Quality Assurance Technician:

Quality technicians are responsible for conducting testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards.

Key responsibilities Quality Assurance Technician:

  • Carry out daily Quality Assurance checks throughout the production.

  • Making up Gold Standards of finished products.

  • Ensure all tests are carried out to meet finished product specifications / procedures.

  • Assist in investigations relating to complaints and non-conformances

  • Carry out Product organoleptic testing as required.

  • To ensure consistently high standards are developed and maintained throughout processes.

  • Assist in product traceability as required, both from Ingredient forward to finished products and from finished products forward to customer and back to Ingredients.

  • Carry out internal environmental audits as required

  • Lead on routine allergen testing

  • Checking of work orders for accuracy

  • Maintain true, clear, comprehensive and accurate documentation for all activities.

  • On all required occasions, raise internal non-compliances and lead on investigation

  • Verify accuracy of CCPs and scales

  • Support training across departments according to quality, food safety and legality

  • Assist on environmental testing schemes in accordance to predefined schedules

  • Maintain a raw material and finished product retained sample library

  • Positive release raw materials in accordance to quality management system procedures

  • Maintain and proactive promote of hygienic practices and GMP

  • Ensure technical aspects of food production are followed in accordance to My Proteins Quality Management System

  • Ensure goods are received and finished products are released in accordance to Myprotein Quality Management System

  • Maintain Quality records and documentation for the purpose of traceability and customer aftercare.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Quality Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Previous QA experience in food manufacturing or other related field

  • In-Depth knowledge of QA practices and procedures in all areas of the Quality.

VIEW JOBS 12/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-11T00:00 Process Technician Duties and Responsibilities: * Aid/Train operators in maximizing product output while maintaining product quality by providing hands-on training and process direction to operators. * Aid/Train operators in performing troubleshooting and making process adjustments as necessary on unresolved process problems. * Reduce variability by ensuring equipment is run under standard operating conditions, record deviations and assignable causes, and work towards correcting such causes. * Monitor condition of equipment and tooling and notify Process Engineer about areas that need attention. * Keep record of pertinent process variables for the purpose of benchmarking and improving the process. * Identify factors that negatively affect cycle time and work towards resolving such problems. * Continuously improve processes to achieve best output without compromising quality * Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure product quality. * Provide tool design related feedback to Engineering. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Must thoroughly understand all thermoforming and extrusion procedures and be capable of independently troubleshooting problems. * Must be detailed and multitask oriented. * Must possess strong communication skills. * General knowledge of Microsoft Office software. * Must have working knowledge of dryer/crystallizer/blender system and be able to troubleshoot. * Must have positive attitude towards team work and improvement of the process. Qualifications: * High school diploma plus 1-2 years of Mechanical/Electrical Vo-Tech or Plastics Technology courses. * A minimum of three years plastic industry experience. * Three to five years of experience in process troubleshooting. Work Environment—Hourly Positions: Our manufacturing plant is not environmentally controlled. Changes in humidity and temperature occur throughout the year. Although machine noise is a constant, conditions are maintained within standards that meet OSHA mandated requirements, and which our Safety Committee monitors.
