SUMMARY
Perform product inspection and audits of quality control programs.
Conduct first article inspections and calibration.
Inspect flat blank layouts, perform out-of-box audits (OBA), and sample and test incoming components and raw materials.
Ensure raw materials, in-process, and finished products meet company standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support quality engineer.
Provide immediate quality support to the manufacturing line to document and address concerns.
Support screen and purge activity, as needed.
Audit processes, tests, and inspect products.
Develop, compile, and evaluate statistical data to maintain quality and reliability.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, or formulas.
Select processes for audit and check for various features including ESD, documentation, training, and process integrity.
Select products for audits at specified stages in production or post-production process.
Test products for dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or cosmetic characteristics.
Record audit data and apply statistical quality control procedures.
Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from standards.
Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards.
Perform calibration on inspection tools and maintain gage track program.
Prepare graphs or charts of data and enter data into computer for analysis.
Download quality information from the quality system for QA reports.
Analyze engineering test results and implement process changes to resolve problems.
Perform receiving inspection and provide factory support to identify and resolve issues associated with purchased parts, materials, and manufacturing.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, technical training, or equivalent experience.
Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
Requires the ability to utilize charts, tables and specifications, and operate a variety of measuring instruments.
Basic understanding of typical quality tools, such as 8d, statistical process control, FEMA and control plans.
Must have Cleanroom Experience
