Onsite Role: 3150 Pleasant View Road, Middleton, WI 53562

Shift: Day

Pay: $22/hour to start!

As a TEAMMATE:

The Quality Assurance Technician is a crucial team member responsible for Device History Record review, Incoming Inspection, and other quality-related activities associated with manufacturing. In this role you will help keep our primary North American hub of operations flowing smoothly.

What you'll get to do in this role:

• Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers

• Ensure Device History Records (DHR) comply with requirements per the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's). Activities include filing and retrieving DHR's

• Responsible for off-site record retention and disposal

• Maintain familiarity with appropriate regulations/standards relative to medical device design, engineering and distribution (i.e. ISO 13485, FDA Part 21 820, Medical Device Directive/Medical Device Regulation, etc.)

• Document and initiate corrective/preventive when applicable

• Assist with quality audits per procedure to maintain compliance with internal and domestic standards

• Have the responsibility and authority for the acceptance or rejection of product that does not meet requirements

• Assist with quality processes and documentation improvements

• Conduct regular incoming and outgoing inspections

• Responsible for assisting with Nonconforming products

• Able to work independently and as a team

What we are looking for:

• One year certificate from college or technical school is a plus; or 3-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

• ASQ certifications are a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Excel

• Able to coach personnel regarding quality Good Documentation Practices in a kind manner

• Understanding of, or ability to grasp medical terminology and equipment is also essential
