Job details for Quality Assurance Technician:

Pay rate $14/hr
2nd shift, 1: 30pm-10pm
40 hours per week, plus overtime as needed
Eligible for Health, Vision, Dental and Term-Life Insurance
Referral bonus available
Paid weekly
Job Duties:

Ensure that all Quality Assurance functions are being performed and documented, in an accurate and efficient manner.
Perform quality, and product testing and assist with food plant operations on the production floor.
Collaborate with Technicians to follow up on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) deviations and report Standard Operating Procedutes (SOP) modifications to Director of Quality Assurance.
Assist Director of Quality Assurance in trending data and perform many periodic, daily walk through of the facility to ensure that all quality and food safety standards are being complied with.
Job requirements for Quality Assurance Technician:

Qualified candidates must have a combination of two/four year college education in food science is preferred or related field and/or experience as a Quality Assurance Technician. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, must be able to read and understand testing procedures, follow directions according to the lab manual, have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and good math skills. Candidates must also be able to lift 50lbs, bend, lift, stand and demonstrate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)

General Summary… The Quality Lead works in partnership with Operations Supervisors and is proficient in multiple areas.
