Job Description:

About the Role:

QA Supervisor will assist QA Manager in program development, GMP's, HACCP, and SOP's. QA Supervisor will assist in technician training, technical coverage, recommend procedure improvements, manage ingredient inspection program, and manage special specification improvements projects.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manage incoming ingredient inspection program and sample retains

• Train technicians on new and existing procedures

• Record, and evaluate lab and production data

• Verify, and record product specifications

• Assist in Q.A. Training or Production in GMP's

• Manage special projects to improve process monitors and procedures

• Perform microbiological testing

• Assist technicians during increased monitoring periods

• Assist in consumer complaint and internal investigations

• Assist in technician scheduling, line assignments, and cross training

• Verify new and existing program specifications

• Perform random finished goods and plant condition/cleanliness audits

• Act for QA Manager in QA manager's absence

• Other duties as assigned

About You:

• Minimum 3 yrs. technical related experience; good communication and math skills; must be computer literate in Microsoft operations (excel, word, power point)

• Lifting requirements up to 30 lbs.

• Required to do walks frequently through shift.

• B.S. in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field or comparable experience
