Quality Assurance Supervisor

Precision CNC Machining Shop is searching for an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor.Primary responsibility: Assist the Director of Quality Assurance with managing the QMS as well as QA Team Tasks:•Lead the activities of the Quality Assurance Team to achieve quality goals.•Assist in preparing for QMS, Supplier and Customer Audits.•Assist with PPAP submissions, including gathering layout and capability data.•Assisting with MSA studies.•Communicate to the Quality Director any concerns or issues regarding production, quality or people.•Train Quality Assurance Inspectors in best practices to carry out processes, policies and procedures.•Performs inspections using manual measuring equipment Caliper, Micrometer, Drop Gages, Height gages etc.•Resolve inspector or operator concerns on questionable parts with the direction of the Quality Director.•All other duties as assigned by Quality Director.Skills:•Expertise in multiple QMS standards including ISO, AS and IATF•Proficient in Mini tab•Ability to communicate in English.•Basic understanding GD&T and reading blueprints.•Familiar with Inspection techniques and bench gage equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, drop gages, calipers, optical comparators, etc.

Experience and Education:•Minimum of 5 years experience in quality capacity.•Minimum of 5 years experience in a machining environment.•CMM programming preferred but not necessary.
