JOB OVERVIEW
Supervises all FSS QA Hit Testing for all production, RMA and Marketing devices to ensure that quality products both functionally & cosmetically are completed per schedule in the most efficient manner possible. Management of the department personnel is performed with transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, training & mentorship, system review, and continual improvement with lean principles. Denotes & communicates completion of assembled inventory required for production work order updates. Communicates & coordinates quality information with Production & Engineering personnel for failure & root cause analysis for product improvements.
This position reports to the Plant Manager and is based out of our San Diego office.
As the QA Supervisor, Hit Test, you will have an opportunity to:
Ensure that all production and RMA/repair devices are of the highest functional & cosmetic quality per schedule in the most efficient manner possible
Review all required software settings for the devices to ensure correct customer requirements
Supervises the QA Hit team with emphasis on cross training the personnel for correct quality assurance of all devices
Communicates & coordinates production and customer device quality issues with Production, Tech Support & Engineering personnel to identify failure modes, root cause analysis and testing & product improvements
Maintains production KPI's for safety, production quality, delivery to schedule & cost, including overtime, resource planning & capacity
Supports Engineering on testing of any new hardware & software design changes
Trains and mentors QA Hit team in lean manufacturing principles - works with personnel to submit continual improvement ideas for implementation
Has moderate knowledge and experience in lean production principles including line layouts, material flow & 7S
Continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers
Uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems
Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction; Provides elevated level of guidance & direction to team
You have the following qualifications that are necessary for someone to fill this position:
Bachelor's degree level required
Must have 7-10 years of extensive golf experience with 3-5 years of personnel supervision experience
Foresight device and software programs knowledge required
Must adhere to all Foresight Sports safety policies
Commitment to excellent product quality, company values, ethics and great customer service; Must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energy
Excellent communication & leadership skills
Physical requirement - Able to withstand the physical requirements of hitting hundreds of golf shots per day
Pay Range:
$69,700.00 - $104,500.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
