Summary

About the Position: Defense Contract Management Agency uses the Expedited Hiring Authority to recruit and appoint qualified individuals directly into shortage category or critical need acquisition positions.
Responsibilities

Reviews contracts and technical data packages to identify the specification requirements which the contractor's processes must meet.
Performs evaluations of supplier quality systems
Performs pre-award surveys in conjunction with other functional specialists.
The intensity of reviews is based on the perceived level of risk associated with the contractor?s demonstrated past performance.
Aviation Maintenance and Helicopter experience preferred
Excel, Access database and Data Collection and Analysis experience preferred.

Travel Required

Occasional travel - Business travel is required 10% of the time.

To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-09 . Specialized experience is defined as:Independent performance of quality assurance principles, used to audit, inspect and accept specialized and unique processes during the evaluation of various manufacturing of testing aircraft engines and engine components. Experience with the application of statistical and quality data analysis evaluations to determine compliance with contractual requirements and acceptability inspections of quality management systems. Utilize risk assessments to analyze processes, identify any required corrective actions and recommend solutions.
