Larimer County Human Services is seeking a skilled Senior Income Maintenance Technician (SIMs) for its Quality Assurance (QA) team. This position is a part of the Program Assistance Unit in the Operations Division. The QA team plays a vital role in the Department's continuous process improvement efforts to deliver accurate and timely benefits to recipients.
A Quality Assurance (Senior Income Maintenance Technician) is responsible for reviewing public benefit case files, identifying errors/best practices, corresponding with income maintenance technicians, managers, trainers, and State of Colorado policy staff to correct errors and report error trends. The QA team is also responsible for identifying trends and patterns and making recommendations regarding how to address these issues.
A Quality Assurance (Senior Income Maintenance Technician) is a lead worker who provides leadership and instruction so others can complete tasks quickly and effectively. They possess and maintain a high level of knowledge in policies and procedures which govern multiple programs, including but not limited to, Medicaid, Food Assistance, Colorado Works, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Aid to the Needy and Disabled, Aid to the blind, Old Age Pension, and Home Care Allowance. They are skilled in navigating the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS) and able to troubleshoot system issues.

Four years experience in a directly related field including one year of experience equivalent to that of an Income Maintenance Technician II in Larimer County, or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities in a human services program.
High school diploma or GED required.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Colorado Driver's License.
