To manage all aspects of site Quality and Regulatory Affairsactivity to support business objectives and defined CVD's. This includes theimplementation of effective quality management systems aligned to corporate andBU policies, procedures and industry specific requirements. High degree ofcustomer focus to support business growth and customer satisfaction.Leadership, development and mentoring of an effective quality team.

Implementation of effective QMS in line with Corporate, BUand local requirements

Continuous improvement of Core Value Drivers in support ofquality and business growth

Manage customer complaint CAPA, POR and NCR processproviding escalation as appropriate

Manage the zones Suppliers' Quality activities

Identification and implementation of controls and reportingto cover industry specific regulatory requirements

Interface with supplier quality engineering function todrive supplier quality at plant and BU level

Job Requirements


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive quality assurance experience

  • 1+ years of experience with thorough understanding of ISO 9001, GMP knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing
  • 5+ years of progressive quality assurance experience

  • Proficient at Excel and Minitab

  • Able to analyze and interpret data, apply advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of the field

  • Considerable demonstrated skills in listening and communicating effectively with diverse individuals, groups; facilitating trust and understanding

  • Coaching, counseling and feedback skills

  • Superior interpersonal abilities

  • Good reasoning abilities. Sound judgment

  • Resourceful and well organized

Other Requirements

  • Computer literacy and knowledge of quality / information systems to support HR activities

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of applicable federal and local product / application laws and regulations

  • Breadth and depth of quality generalist knowledge

  • Ability to function effectively in a global / matrix organization

  • Well-developed administrative and management skills

  • Understanding of the manufacturing business, ISO and cGMP knowledge is preferred

The protocols assigned to this coordinator include tissue collection protocols, industry sponsored studies, and investigator initiated studies. Each type of study requires different types of skills and abilities in order to track protocol development milestones and approvals. In addition, this coordinator will help with the submission of international studies to the BCM IBC(institutional biosafety committee) as well as other regulatory and institutional committees as applicable. * Develops and maintains positive relationships with regulatory agencies through oral and written communications regarding pre-submission strategies, and follow-up of submissions under review. * Coordinates the planning, preparation, data collection, assembly, review and publication of regulatory submissions to the FDA and other government agencies. * Reports and responds to agencies inquiries or comments. * Assists with and prepares for FDA meetings, inspections, and audits from regulatory agencies. * Prepares regulatory reports and coordinate data collection and reporting with other departments. * Tracks changes in regulatory guidelines as they may occur. * Prepares updates on laws, regulations and guidelines for distribution to appropriate study personnel and investigators. * Maintains working knowledge of regulatory changes through guidelines, articles, writings and courses. * Supports PI.s and study staff by assisting in the data collection and notification required for reporting of Adverse Events Facilitate communication with IRB related to Adverse Events. * Supports study monitoring, as needed and requested. * Assists with regulatory affairs training. Required: * Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or equivalent applicable work experience. * No experience required. Preferred: * Master's degree and/or additional course work. * Two(2) to five (5) years in a regulatory affairs or compliance role with hands on experience preparing and submitting regulatory documentation. * Regulatory Affairs Certification.
