Job Summary:

Under limited supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience, specialized training and/or certification to manage the testing process as part of a project team which may include one or more of following types of testing: Unit, Integration, Functional, System, Regression, Performance, Compatibility, and User Acceptance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the testing process for moderately complex projects.

  • Supports the creation, implementation, maintenance and compliance to test policies, methodologies, standards and best practices.

  • Verifies, validates and/or creates the appropriate test plans, test strategies, test cases/scripts have been created, testing is completed, and results are documented for planned test projects.

  • Provides support on risk analysis with an emphasis on identifying, targeting and mitigating risk to the company through the testing process.

  • Provides training for new users of QA products

  • Researches, recommends, and presents information for inclusion in a process or the creation of a new process.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • Software quality assurance and testing concepts and principles.

  • Project management principles.

  • Basic software development life cycle methodology.

  • General financial industry concepts.

Skill in:

  • Integrated testing software, services, and best practices for IT governance, application delivery, and application management.

  • Quality Center automated test management tool.

  • Business Process Testing.

  • Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications.

Ability to:

  • Work independently with limited supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Build solid, effective working relationships with others.

  • Communicate verbally and through written work clearly and professionally.

  • Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives.

  • Provide a high level of customer service.

Educational/Previous Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Accounting, Finance or related field and minimum of two (2) years relevant quality assurance experience.


  • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.

VIEW JOBS 1/17/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-17T00:00 Description Under limited supervision, the Anti-Money Laundering (AML)Quality Control Senior Analyst is responsible for reviewing the quality andaccuracy of the Client Intelligence Unit (CIU). This role involves a criticalattention to detail and will also be accountable for generating periodicreports (metrics) that will be utilized by the AML Senior Management team inorder to analyze quality trends and patterns. May handle projects ofmoderate scope and complexity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Conductcontinuing reviews of AML alert and case investigations, including dispositionsand documentation related to decisions. * Conductreviews on the onboarding of clients to confirm that necessary documentation iscollected and validated. * Verify the AML CIU analystperformed the appropriate levels of review for each case, to includetransactional analysis. * Evaluate CDD(Customer Due Diligence) and EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) data reflected in thecases being reviewed in order to ensure accurate and rational customerprofiles. * Review casesrelated to the disposition of adverse media alerts to determine if the CIUAnalyst correctly determined whether a true match to a prospective or existingclient exists and has been escalated, as applicable. * Ensure that allcases are closed/filed in accordance with internal Service Level Agreements(SLA) and the securities and/or banking industry's regulatory requirements. * Provide written and verbal feedback/training to the CIUanalysts. * Prepare reports for the AML Quality Control Manager andSenior Management. * Assist with special projects. * Maintain andupdate written procedures for assigned job responsibilities. * Function as a subject matter expert on AML-related issuesand provide mentoring as needed. * Escalate and articulate relevant risks to the appropriatestakeholders. * Identify opportunities for increased effectiveness,efficiency, and risk mitigation. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of: * Concepts, practices, and procedures of securitiesindustry and/or banking compliance reviews. * Rules andregulations of the USA PATRIOT Act, the Bank Secrecy Act, and other AML-relatedregulations, rules, or guidance. * Fundamental investment concepts, practices, andprocedures used in the securities industry. * Principles of banking and finance and securities industryoperations. * Financial markets and products. Skill in: * Administering AML policies and procedures. * Analyzing activity documentation to identify irregulartransactions. * Planning and scheduling work to comply with regulatoryorganizational and regulatory requirements. * Identifying and applying appropriate compliancemonitoring procedures and tests. * Preparing oral and/or written reports. * Investigating compliance issues and irregularities. * Making rule-based and analytical decisions. * Operating standard office equipment and using requiredsoftware applications. * Communicating clearly and effectively, both orally and inwriting. * Providing feedback to the CIU unit. Ability to: * Identify problems, collect data, establish facts, anddraw valid conclusions. * Research andanalyze large amounts of data, interpret higher risk attributes (transactional,geographical, product/service, customer type, etc.), and validate casedispositions appropriately. * Provide mentoring, training, and review of work to the CIUanalysts. * Rely on knowledge and judgment to plan and attainassigned tasks and goals. * Focus on speed and set the appropriated urgencies withoutcompromising accuracy. * Establish and maintain effective working relationships atall levels of the organization. * Maintain confidentiality. * Stay currentin AML rules and regulations and compliance examination techniques and bestpractices.
