Position Title: Quality Assurance

Position Description: Our Bothell client is looking for immediate support for a 6 month contract on their Quality team.

This person does not need to have a Quality title but they would like a solid understanding and experience in electronics products used in consumer electronics, avionics or medical devices. Must have strong problem solving and documentation skills.

Job Description:
Primary responsibilities will be complaint reports and working on project tasks.

Job Requirements:

BS degree in Electrical Engineering
2-4 years experience with consumer, medical, or avionics electronics.
Problem solving /analysis skills - determine Root Cause using 5 Whys Analysis, Fishbone diagrams etc.
Excellent writing skills
Nice to Have: Experience with Product Quality, Complaints, Medical devices, C++

The QA Technician will be responsible for coordinating final DHR review and product release, managing production equipment PM's and calibration. Principal Responsibilities: * Assist QA/Engineering writing and executing process validations * Develop inspection plans for incoming parts and end of line testing * Initiate change requests to products/parts/processes * Provide Quality Assurance support to production lines, service department, and subsidiaries * Compile and analyze data to identify issues and make improvement recommendations * Support the Production QA team Final Device History Record review and Product Release * Responsible for production equipment PM management and calibrations * Assists in failure investigations and appropriate documentation * Perform special projects and Operations support * Provide back up on other QA functions as required * Follow all company policy and procedures * Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Technical background with an Associate Degree or above * 3+ years experience in Medical Device/Pharmaceutical regulated manufacturing facility * Ability to read and interpret procedures and technical drawings * Excellent written and verbal communication skills -must be able to write procedures and release in document control system and be able to describe non-conformities and investigation results in written form * Must have a quality mind set * Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a timely manner * A self-starter who demonstrates an aptitude for organization * Proven attention to detail * Ability to work in a TEAM environment * Willingness to learn and grow * Familiarity with MS Office software * Familiarity with ISO 13485 / FDA cGMP regulations desirable * Ability to lift 20-40 pounds About Verathon: Verathon is a global medical device company focused on supporting customers by being their trusted partner, delivering high-quality products that endure over time and ensure clinical and economic utility.
