Quality Control Associate

We are looking for an individual to serve as administrative support for US-based content team, providing document Quality Control and formatting and additional editorial support activities, as assigned. The individual will work closely with a variety of members of the content team and, on occasion, across teams.

Critical Responsibilities

  • Reformat Word documents

  • Conduct quality checks of customer file uploads ingested into our content management system, editing where necessary to adhere to product requirements

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the uploads are accurate

  • Manage and prioritize work under tight deadlines

  • Accurately record changes of text, formatting, and structure in Microsoft Excel

  • Test process and product enhancements, as needed

  • Support of other editorial activities, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Holder

  • 1 year of related experience - Data Analytics, data encoding, back office or proofreading

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Snipping Tool

  • Strong proofreading and editing skills

  • Very close attention to detail and accuracy

  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills to track productivity and to ensure that deadlines are met

  • Good communication skills across teams and levels

  • Ability to identify, report and explain technical issues when necessary

Nice to Have Skills

  • Familiarity with US employment law, HR issues and/or employee handbook policies

  • Familiarity with content management systems (preferably Squidex)

  • Experiencing in publishing and/or editing
