Quality Assurance Manager

POSITION SUMMARY????????? ???????????

The Quality Assurance Manager will provide leadership and oversight to the Community Care unit's performance improvement functions. Responsibilities include maintaining and reporting outcomes of chart review and tier data, leading PI initiatives and activities within the Community Care unit, overseeing the efficiency of QI review procedures, providing education and training to the QI/PI team and others within the organization and ensuring that reimbursement and funding are validated by the care and services documented by staff.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS??

Education & Qualifications:

Education:? ?Graduate of an accredited Baccalaureate School of Nursing or equivalent schooling and experience.

Licensure & Certifications: ??Must have current RN licensure by the Georgia State Board of Nursing or equivalent compact state licensure. Proficiency in ICD coding and/or OASIS required.

Previous Experience: Must have a minimum of two years? experience with home health care, two years? experience in quality improvement processes, experience in CMS, state and HH accreditation rules and regulations.

Knowledge & Training: Must have demonstrated knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of quality improvement as well as data analysis relative to performance improvement.

Computer Skills: Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as, usernames and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop or laptop, including starting programs, using files, and windows, effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.

Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.
