As a Quality Assurance Manager within PNC's TCOE organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

Job Description

  • Manages the development and implementation of plans for inspecting, testing, and evaluating software product functions and features.

  • Oversee and develop product QA and test plans for each phase of the development cycle.

  • Plans all resources and schedules for functional and performance QA work. Oversees the selection of the QA and testing tool-kit. Supports the overall QA strategy for the team.

  • Tracks, reports-on, and works towards improvement of quality assurance metrics, tools, and processes.

  • Oversees performance of individual team members and team as a whole. Identifies and addresses staff training and development needs.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. At least 3 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Requirements * Proven work experience of 7+ Years in software quality assurance * Must have Selenium + Python hands on Experience of 5+ Years * Must have experience developing frameworks from scratch and ability to maintain it in future * Must have Git Experience;Experience with Jenkins is highly desirable * Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes * Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases * Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing * Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting * Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process * Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus * BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject Responsibilities * Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback * Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases * Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities * Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools * Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs * Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved * Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs * Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements * Monitor debugging process results * Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions * Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts * Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies How you'll grow At Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
