Quality Assurance Manager

Title : Senior Quality Manager Location : Raleigh, NC Duration : 12 Months Job Type : C Project Quality Management includes overseeing all project delivery, deliverables, vendor performance, process adherence, and to ensure the project and vendor(s) meet all Federal requirements necessary to maintain project Federal funding. This is a senior position, and the incumbent will be a member of the core project implementation team.

The ideal candidate will work flexibly and comfortably as an active team contributor, in addition to being a leader and subject matter expert. This role oversees and performs Project Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Continual Improvement, and other functions. Skill Years of experience Last Used Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, MS Sharepoint) MS Visio SDLC Experience participating in a project leveraging Waterfall/traditional IT Project Management methodology Experience participating in a project leveraging Agile or Hybrid Project Management methodology Automated testing software experience ITIL Foundations certification Six Sigma Green/Yellow belt certification Experience in Human Service industry Experience in government sector Individual contributor role experience in IT testing (developing test cases, executing test cases) Leadership/managerial experience in IT testing (developing test plans, leading testing teams) Leadership/managerial experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Leadership/managerial experience in End-to-End and Regression testing Leadership/managerial experience in Integration testing (3 interfaces) Leadership/managerial experience in vendor management and oversight and managing client deliverable review and approval processes Experience interacting with Independent Verification & Validation teams conducting reviews for projects on which the applicant has participated Experience interfacing with Auditors conducting reviews of projects on which the applicant has participated Experience with PMI PMBOK project management methodology, processes and deliverables Experience performing hands-on quality reviews of PMI project management deliverables Experience performing hands-on quality reviews of technical design documents and other IT architectural deliverables Experience developing and managing Quality Management Plans and Strategy for large IT projects (greater than $10M with at least one IT vendor) Experience advising senior executives regarding strategic quality decisions, such as decisions related to vendor performance/project direction Knowledge of Organizational Change Management (OCM) and related deliverables and methodology Knowledge of Centers for Medicaid and Medicare (CMS) funding requirements overall and related to testing, system certifications and APD updates
